    DAUM : VARIATIONS D'ARTISTES

In collaboration with the French master glassmaker, DAUM, the Espace Dali Montmartre holds an exceptional exhibition of unique glass items, “DAUM, Variations d’Artistes”. The exhibition started on September 11, 2015, and will run until January 3, 2016.

“DAUM, Variations d’Artistes” brings together wonderful crystal pieces by the prominent surrealist artist Salvador Dali. Among them, we can mention the famous “Dance of time” which is inspired from his well-known painting, “The Persistence of Memory” (1931).

The show also comprises amazing pieces by many other popular artists and designers who worked for DAUM over the last 100 years such as Arman, Ben, César, Paella Chimicos, Louis Derbré, Carlos Mata, Hilton McConnico, Jérôme Mesnager, Alain Séchas, and Richard Texier.

Founded in 1878 by Jean Daum, DAUM, the glassworks, contributed significantly to the spread of the Art Nouveau style, especially between the late 19th century and the beginnings of the 20th century.

If you are staying at Sister Hotels, consider visiting “DAUM, Variations d’Artistes”. You will never regret it!
