Paula Modersohn-Becker at the Musée d’Art Moderne

From April 8 to August 21, 2016, Paris Museum of Modern Art (Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris) puts on view a special exhibition devoted to the talented painter Paula Modersohn-Becker (1876 – 1907), under the title of Paula Modersohn-Becker.

Considered to be the first monographic exhibition of Becker’s work, in France, Paula Modersohn-Becker sheds light on the major aspects characterizing the work of this German early expressionist artist.

Indeed, it gives viewers the chance to discover more than 100 amazing paintings as well as drawings, including impressive self-portraits that highlight the identity of women and the importance of the quest for the inner-self, according to Becker.

Until August 21, 2016, our guests can take pleasure in visiting the exhibition Paula Modersohn-Becker at Paris Museum of Modern Art. The museum is not too far from our Sister Hotels Champs-Elysées Paris.

Paula Modersohn-Becker is curated by Julia Garimorth.
